ITINERARY
Morning start in the heart of Julian Alps. Scenic Vrsic mountain road will take us over the highest paved mountain pass in Slovenia at 1.611 meters (5.285 feet) altitude. It has a historical value that goes back to the WWI. Make sure to have your camera ready as you’ll undoubtedly have many good photo opportunities. We are going to follow emerald Soca River with its narrow gorges. Short lunch/snack break in Bovec, adrenalin capital of Slovenia and adventure on Emerald river – rafting*. We head back to Ljubljana after a short hike to Kozjak waterfall, 2,4 km (1,5 mile) altogether.
*About rafting on this trip:
You have to be in good condition and you must know how to swim!
Trip duration is approx. 2h 30min, about 10 km (6,2 miles).
Price includes all necessary equipment and English speaking guide.
Equipment provided: neoprene shoes, helmet, life jackets, neoprene suit and anorak.
Please bring your own bathing suit, T-shirt and a towel.
