It is hard to imagine that 45 minutes away from Ljubljana there is a place that looks like a Hobbit Village. Velika Planina mountain plateau is considered to be the most beautiful pasture in the country. The expansive, mile-high meadows of the ‘Big Mountain’, are the scenic crown jewel of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps.
