Start your day with a boat ride to the tiny island of Lake Bled. The only island in Slovenia is possible to reach with a traditional wooden rowing boat called pletna. In the island’s church, you can ring a bell of wishes, a tradition, that is most possibly 500 years old. Let’s explore deeper in Triglav National Park and drive through picturesque alpine villages and pastures full of hayracks. Enjoy some free time by the biggest Slovenian lake, Bohinj and continue to the lower station of Mt. Vogel cable car*. In short time we will ascend on 1533m/5030 feet altitude, where we will be rewarded with astonishing views of mountain peaks and lake Bohinj on our palm. Return to Bled and have the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Bled.

A day at leisure or join an optional day excursion to Postojna cave and to Ljubljana city center. We will take you to the home of baby dragons and knights. It sounds like a fairytale, right? Number one visited attraction in Slovenia is the Queen of the caves – Postojna cave. It is a system of chambers, halls and passages that you enter by open train which adds to the experience of depths and adventure. Countless stalagmite and stalactite formations are lit well enough even to take pictures. You will hear about Slovenia’s most unusual creature that we are fond of and call a human fish. Next, we go to Ljubljana, Slovenia’s capital city. It is simply a gorgeous city, with colourful buildings and atmospheric streets. Add to that a city steeped in history, eclectic architectural styles, a flourishing foodie scene and relaxed vibes. On a guided city tour we will visit Ljubljana’s best features like Plecnik’s Triple bridge, baroque St. Nicholas Cathedral, Renaissance City hall and Art Nouveau street. Drive back to Bled, overnight.

A day at leisure or join an optional half-day excursion to Velika Planina mountain plateau*. It is hard to imagine that less than an hour away from Bled there is a place that looks like a Hobbit Village. Velika Planina mountain plateau is considered to be the most beautiful pasture in the country. The expansive, mile-high meadows of the ‘Big Mountain’, are the scenic crown jewel of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. In the summer months, traditional dairy farmers graze their cattle up there and stay in traditional wooden huts. Be ready for some great photography chances. The half-day trip includes cable car lift to 1666 m (5466 feet) altitude, visit a Herdsmen’s settlement and Preskar shepherd hut museum. There is even a chapel of Snow Mary where masses are held every Sunday during summer months.
